Manual or automatic — which should I choose?+
A manual licence lets you drive every car, including automatics. It takes a little longer to master clutch and gears, but gives you maximum flexibility. If you only want to drive and pass quickly, automatic is easier — see our automatic lessons page.
Is a manual licence better for renting cars abroad?+
Often yes. Many rental and company cars outside big cities are still manual, so a manual licence avoids surprises when you travel.
Do you teach manual lessons in English?+
